Why You Should Consider Online Personal Training 2

By Faith Barbare, Owner and Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist at SimplyFit

With the average cost of a personal training session at $50 in the United States, hiring a personal trainer is undoubtedly a luxury. On the other hand, I have found that the key to success in reaching fitness goals is accountability. Online Personal Training Programs provide the best of both worlds; you receive the accountability and expertise of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost.

How Does Online Personal Training Work?

Since Online Personal Training Programs come in all shapes and sizes, I will go over how our program works. First, I have new clients complete a detailed questionnaire. We then discuss everything in detail in an initial consultation. I then build their customized workouts in the SimplyFit App. I factor in their current physical ability and limitations, such as prior injuries. You don’t like a particular exercise? No problem! I can easily switch it around for a different exercise. However, this doesn’t mean you get to skip the pushups without a good reason!

I have filmed over 150 videos (like the one below) to ensure my clients understand how to properly perform the exercises. As you have questions along the way, you have access to a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I have also created a SimplyFit Online Personal Training Facebook group, full of like-minded individuals here to provide additional support.

How Does Online Personal Training Keep Clients Accountable?

In the SimplyFit app, I have my clients track the weights used for exercises and the reps performed. This information allows me to ensure my clients are pushing themselves and are consistently working out. The app also integrates with Fitbit and My Fitness Pal to give me a comprehensive overview of my clients’ nutrition and activity levels. As my clients become more advanced, I increase the difficulty of their workouts. I also have my clients perform check-ins on a weekly basis by taking progress photos and measurements in the app. The check-ins serve as both motivation for my clients and as a point of reference for progress.

How is the SimplyFit Online Personal Training Program Different?

There are a ton of online personal training programs on the internet, but what makes our program so special? We specialize in exercise programs for busy lifestyles. Therefore, I can design your workouts to be done at home, with minimal equipment, or at the gym. It’s important to create a plan of action that fits your schedule.

Furthermore, when it comes to fitness a “one size fits all” approach is not effective. Still, a lot of companies only offer generic cookie-cutter programs. We don’t believe this is a safe or effective approach to fitness. Every client receives their own training plans with customized workouts, catered to their needs and goals.

I care about your success as much as I care about keeping you safe from injury and burnout. Together, we will create a new fitness lifestyle that you won’t be able to imagine your life without.
